Despite my youth, I've amassed nearly 5 years of professional MCAT Instruction and Coaching. As the former Director of MCAT Instruction at Jack Westin, and a current medical student at the University of Toronto, I've supported hundreds of pre-med students with their MCAT preparation. I place a large emphasis on test taking strategy and individualized study plans so that each student can see the most progress in the shortest amount of time. I've helped multiple students achieve 20+ point increases, which ultimately puts the student in a stronger position when it comes to applying to medical school.

I received a 522 on the MCAT (>99th percentile) and am a current medical student at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine. I also worked in research and healthcare consulting, and am the Co-Founder and CEO of an orthopedic device startup. I love to work with students to find out what subject area strengths and weaknesses they have, set up study plans to address these weaknesses, and also help them strategize ways to improve their scores on the MCAT. A reasoning test first and foremost, I've built on my foundational teaching skills to help students not only meet their goals, but often exceed them. Going through the premed process can be arduous and anxiety-provoking, and preparing for a high-stakes examination like the MCAT is no exception. I've honed in on skills fostered through years of working as a mentor and teacher with the CURB Peer Mentorship Program, teaching in local K-12 high schools in Ithaca through 21st Century & REACH and conducting in-person and online MCAT tutoring with both Yale and Cornell undergrads. Now, having adapted a course full of materials, strategies, and resources to guide my students, I'm excited to use Leland's platform to share my insights and strategies to the next generation of future physicians. I scored in the 99th percentile in the MCAT, but what sets me apart is my motivation to adapt and invest in the needs of every one of my students.
