As a current medical student at Mayo Clinic, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to MCAT preparation as well as required pre-med courses. While completing my MD, I also work as an instructor for Kaplan's MCAT prep courses and as a tutor/TA for Mayo's College of Medicine and Science. I’m the founder of IvyTutoring, a Harvard University graduate, and a White Coat Award recipient. I’ve helped thousands of students succeed on high-stakes exams, including the MCAT, across several thousand hours of direct instruction, curriculum design, and large-scale educational content. I've honed in on skills fostered through years of working as a mentor and teacher with the CURB Peer Mentorship Program, teaching in local K-12 high schools in Ithaca through 21st Century & REACH and conducting in-person and online MCAT tutoring with both Yale and Cornell undergrads. Now, having adapted a course full of materials, strategies, and resources to guide my students, I'm excited to use Leland's platform to share my insights and strategies to the next generation of future physicians. I scored in the 99th percentile in the MCAT, but what sets me apart is my motivation to adapt and invest in the needs of every one of my students. Despite my youth, I've amassed nearly 5 years of professional MCAT Instruction and Coaching. As the former Director of MCAT Instruction at Jack Westin, and a current medical student at the University of Toronto, I've supported hundreds of pre-med students with their MCAT preparation.
