Hi there! My name is George Lankas, Stanford GSB class of 2027. I was fortunate enough to receive acceptances to 3 top MBA programs (GSB, Wharton, and Tuck). I ran a tutoring company as a student at Georgetown University, where I helped classmates ace Econ classes and get past writer’s block on essay. I also offer career coaching – after transitioning from an IB oriented role to client facing Private Banking, I know how tricky the pivot can be! I am a member of the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants (AIGAC), the most elite organization for admissions consultants. It has fewer than 200 members worldwide. I was admitted based on my track record over the years of helping clients obtain admissions to Harvard, Stanford, MIT, UPenn, Duke, Columbia, among other elite schools.

I hold an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a BA from Swarthmore College.

Coming from a non-target undergraduate institution and non-target work place I secured admission at MIT and Harvard and know how difficult it is to do so. I can help you tell your story and really stand out. I make things accessible and break them down into bite sized goals to help you put your best foot forward. While in my MBA program I worked at Bridgewater Associates and then had offers from Goldman Sachs TMT SF and Morgan Stanley Tech Investment banking groups. I also won the P.D. Soros Fellowship for New Americans (1% acceptance rate, $90,000) and the Zuckerman Fellowship (full ride at Harvard + Stanford), which helped fund a large part of my graduate degree.

I earned my MBA at the USC Marshall School of Business, where I served as Vice President of the Veterans Association and the Tech Association. That experience gave me a front-row seat to how MBA programs work, what admissions committees look for, and how students can make the most of their time in business school. My own MBA propelled me into roles at Salesforce and later into a Chief of Staff position at Zoom—proof of how powerful the right MBA path can be. Now, I help others create the same kind of transformation. I've coached three clients to MBA success. First, a Marine. I improved his reading comprehension and apprehension with geometry and probability. Second, I improved the client's self-concept. His narrative was perfect. I also mentored him through a mentor at Georgetown University. Now, he is in his first year there, in Business School, ready to command-and-conquer. My second client was a New Yorker who dreamed of going Columbia Business to level up as a manager. His middling GRE score reflected despair; I brought hope. Together through rigorous review and practice we helped him earn a 94th percentile. Using his new writing skills, he crafted a masterful narrative. Now he is at Columbia Business Alum and rockin' it in the corporate space (a la Industry). Next was the client from West Virginia. It was a family affair. I tutored the sister to improve her vocabulary and outlining techniques; I tutored the brother in crafting a convincing narrative. He is now in his second year at Harvard Business. I am also in a network of MBAs. Most of my cohort from Penn 11 either has an MBA or a JDBMA or both. Indeed my closest friend locally, in politics, is at USC Marshall, and I've helped him through his Econometrics and Statistics classes throughout - gratis (thank you for your service). I grew up across five U.S. cities and spent years living on four continents, so “Where are you from?” rarely has a tidy answer. But why I move is simple: to help people become the best version of themselves. For me, that impact starts with food. My personal mission is to make healthy meals exciting, accessible, and affordable. That mission led me to build a hydroponic farm in my apartment, donate 20K lbs of food to furloughed service workers during COVID, and start a kombucha company in China. That clarity of vision led me to become the first person ever admitted to Stanford GSB and the Schwarzman Scholars program in the same application cycle.
