I worked in management consulting for five years across a variety of roles - as a Business Analyst, Engagement Manager, and in the office of the CEO at McKinsey & Company. I was also able to do a secondment at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a year. At McKinsey, I was a Faculty member who led first and second-year analyst trainings and conducted hundreds of hours of interview coaching. And in college at the University of Michigan, I peer coached dozens of students to offers at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Accenture, Strategy&, and Deloitte.

I was selected as 1 of 3 Bain interns during my Junior year at WashU, and I believe my methodical approach to the recruiting process was a huge reason for my success. After graduation, I spent 3 years at Bain, went to pursue my MBA at Wharton on a merit based fellowship, and eventually joined the Tech world as a Product Manager for startups. My case interview coaching experience is extensive. At WashU I became President of the Consulting club during my Sophomore year, continuing to lead the club until my Senior year. At Bain, I was one of the WashU recruiting team leads helping to coach prospective students through the case interview process. While living in Korea for my externship, I co-founded a Consulting club for Minerva University and helped students break into MBB for the first time in their school's history. At Wharton, I continued to help my friends and classmates practice for their case interviews. I have given over 500 mock case interviews at this point in my life and helped countless people get their dream jobs at top consulting firms. I am a 3rd generation (!!) Korean American who grew up in Atlanta and currently lives in San Francisco. A few of my hobbies include bouldering, Texas Hold'em, and Liverpool FC. My 3.5 years in management consulting have been the best of my life, but my path into MBB was unique. I came from a non-Ivy school, off target degree program, and little focus on business before my junior year. Despite this, I got an offer at my top choice firm and managed my networking and staffing to focus 100% of my cases in my primary industry of interest. I have been consistently evaluated as high performing and high potential against my peers, was sponsored for an office transfer and several competitive development programs, have been involved in office recruiting committees, and at times spent 3-6 hours a week mentoring candidates.
