10 years ago I was going through the college application process and felt entirely alone. No one in my family had gone through the daunting process and my school didn't have the resources to support me in elite college applications. Fortunately, I found Questbridge and was able to highlight my story to receive admission to Rice University (and various other schools). At Rice, I served on the Admissions Committee and conducted 50+ Admissions interviews, working directly with their team to identify top candidates for Rice.

Background: I am a graduate of Harvard College, where I majored in Cultural Anthropology and studied Spanish, Korean, and Japanese. As the oldest son of immigrant parents from Japan and Mexico, and the first in my family to graduate from college, I understand the socioeconomic and cultural barriers many students face in pursuing their educational, professional, and personal goals.
