I am passionate about the intersection of business and technology. I'm a part-time MBA at Chicago Booth and hold a BS in Business Administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler. I have supported Admissions Committee interviews and TA'd Negotiations classes at Chicago Booth. From a professional perspective, I recently started leading strategic pilot projects at Scale AI in the Generative AI space. Prior to this, I worked at Instacart for over 5 years where I helped scale Operations from Series E all the way through IPO. My experience began when I learned to solve for cold starts by launching markets across the US and Canada. Eventually this turned into a Senior Manager role where I led strategy and operations for our Canadian markets. Prior to Instacart, I have experience as a IBM Digital Strategy Consultant supporting retail clients. tl;dr on me: I'm an experienced consumer-facing product leader and founder who has scaled teams, launched products with millions of users and more millions of revenue impact, and raised money (within corporations and from top VCs). I've also felt imposter syndrome, doubted my career decisions, and been rejected from more job positions than I can count. Throughout both, I've always enjoyed sharing my learnings with students and mentees so they can avoid the mistakes I've made and find fulfillment as quickly and abundantly as possible. While I was a student at the University of Texas, I founded the campus’s first product-focused peer mentorship and recruiting organization. Through the organization and independently, I’ve coached dozens of students and young professionals on how to break into and succeed in product and consumer-facing roles — and like any great PM, I enjoy getting into the nitty gritty, from resume review to international launches and fighting for more eng staffing. I personally understand the challenges presented by coming from a public, non-Ivy university, as well as the anxiety that comes from being “non-technical”. After interning at VRBO, I joined Uber’s Associate Product Manager (APM) program — giving me exposure to leading tech teams in highly operational contexts (scooters and bikes), shipping design systems for core rider experience, and 3x-ing revenue and team size for a new business line (takeout) at Uber Eats.

My professional career has included my role as a management consultant, where I built pricing models for insurance companies, evaluated presidential foundations’ programming, and improved marketing at large corporations. What most informs my approach to career coaching, however, was the time I spent working along C-suite level executives trying to help them resolve the issues and questions that kept them up at night. Right out of my graduate program at Harvard, I worked for Google's HR department and at Kaplan, developing a national curriculum in reading, math and writing for K-8th graders. I've co-authored a Kaplan textbook on writing and was responsible for training instructors on best practices in pedagogy. As someone with a wide range of experiences personally and professionally, I love helping students shape and mold their own stories to help them stand out in the crowd. In my free time, I love all things British royals, ballroom dancing, traveling internationally, and watching live theater and movies with complex plot lines.

I have spent the last 10+ years building my own career and helping my peers and direct reports along the way. In my role as a leader, I have a focus on the career development of my team members to ensure they are prepared for whatever comes next for them and providing opportunities that match their development needs. Outside of that, I have also been trained in the Co-Active certification program, working with individual clients over the last 3 years to help them gain clarity on what they want next in their career and how to create actionable next steps to get there.
