David has helped clients get into these companies:
Ever find yourself stuck in a career that's clearly not right for you? That was me 15 years ago, but let me take you even further back. In 2007 I graduated from Duke with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I knew I didn't want to do engineering, so I made my first hard pivot - I landed a job at JPMorgan as an investment banker. 4 years later with a stop in venture banking, I knew it wasn't for me. I knew I wanted to change into something with a faster pace that would allow me to flex my creativity, but didn't know how to convince anyone to hire me without any direct experience. Now with nearly 13 years of marketing experience under my belt, I can say with enthusiasm that I was able to pivot into a career that's right for me. Knowing from first hand experience how soul crushing the wrong job can be, I'm personally invested in helping people get out and onto the right path for themselves.

About David
Former finance guy turned full stack marketer. Currently a marketing consulting working with companies like Coinbase and Superhuman, driving growth and process improvements. Previously a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Google, I was a global brand and performance media lead for Google Shopping. With over 10 years of experience in marketing, I have directly implemented and managed both brand and performance campaigns spanning across paid search, display, TV, PR, partnerships, social, and influencer marketing. I grew up in a small town in Idaho as a child of first generation immigrants. Spent much of my childhood helping out at the family restaurant, which I credit for a lot of my work ethic. Currently the father of two young daughters, so I'm slowly learning the ropes of juggling work and family. Definitely not easy, but it's the most rewarding job(s) in the world.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I wouldn't have gotten to where I am if people hadn't believed in me and helped me through the rough patches. I believe that everyone has the potential to accomplish whatever they set their mind to, and sometimes they just need a small nudge to get them over the hump or out of the rut.
