Why do I coach?
I know how transformative getting into the right program can be. As a first-generation college student, I never dreamt that one day I could be going to Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School. I didn't know anyone who had gone there, and I thought it was unattainable. Luckily for me, I had amazing friends and mentors who pushed me to apply and, more importantly, helped me tell my unique and authentic story. I will be forever grateful to these people for pushing me to dig deep and tell my stories throughout my applications. I want to do the same for others; I want to ensure that other capable candidates tell their authentic stories and gain admission to the programs of their dreams. At HBS, I represented LASO on the admissions committee, helping to demystify the process for prospective students and building strategies to recruit more candidates of color. My personalized approach ensures that candidates are able to tell their personal and professional stories in a way that is compelling to members of the admissions committee. I do so in a holistic way focusing on essays, recommendations, test scores, resume building, leadership opportunities, and more. My conviction in the inherent potential of every individual has empowered me to steer my clients toward success. By assisting them in recognizing the significance of their unique experiences and backgrounds, I've facilitated their ability to distinguish themselves and attain their objectives. This fundamental belief has served as a catalyst throughout my coaching voyage, continually motivating me to aid others in realizing their utmost potential.
