Over the course of my career, I have held more than a dozen job titles across five different industries. I want to make it easier and more predictable for others to figure out the strategies needed to get into "elite" institutions like the ones I attended - I had to stumble across these strategies myself, and want to take the guesswork out of the process for others! Most importantly: I'm passionate about helping folks figure out their unique Why - so that they can create a career rocket ship, and craft a compelling narrative for it. (This also involves reframing self-limiting beliefs that have kept you feeling stuck or overwhelmed.) I've worked with tons of clients on both sides of the coin - both those trying to get into the worlds I navigated, and those trying to rediscover a cohesive sense of self and tailored plan for growth, after years or even decades in the corporate world.

Born in New Jersey and raised in Mexico and Philadelphia, Ben is a senior at Brown University studying International and Public Affairs and Entrepreneurship. He also serves as a mentor and business advisor to graduate student founders in Harvard Business School's Field X and Field Y courses. Ben has experience building companies, including his own, in industries such as technology, social media, entertainment, and education. He has performed internal risk management consulting for Goldman Sachs in New York City and marketing consulting for Soulsight. Ben is a passionate musician and has experience as a professional singer. Ben is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School’s Summer Venture in Management Program, was a Latitude Fellow at D.E. Shaw & Co., an MLT Career Prep Fellow, a 2021 Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar, and a Bridging the Gap Power Awardee. He also studied at the University of Edinburgh while pursuing his undergraduate degree. In his free time, Ben enjoys traveling (has been to 33 countries so far), playing tennis, scuba diving, and cooking. With a myriad of experiences in pre-professional and early career settings, Ben is passionate about sharing his knowledge, advice, and biggest takeaways with aspiring young leaders.

As a former Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, I bring a deep understanding of the management consulting industry and what it takes to succeed in the application process. I led the events workstream for Washington University in St. Louis recruiting, and my team organized resume workshops, case workshops, and other sessions to help candidates apply and interview at McKinsey. During my time at McKinsey, I led a hiring accelerator for one of my clients where I reviewed resumes, wrote resume review criteria, and wrote job descriptions to help my client determine who to interview and ultimately hire. I am my friends' go to person for helping with resume edits, LinkedIn reviews, and networking tips. My professional career has included my role as a management consultant, where I built pricing models for insurance companies, evaluated presidential foundations’ programming, and improved marketing at large corporations. What most informs my approach to career coaching, however, was the time I spent working along C-suite level executives trying to help them resolve the issues and questions that kept them up at night. Right out of my graduate program at Harvard, I worked for Google's HR department and at Kaplan, developing a national curriculum in reading, math and writing for K-8th graders. I've co-authored a Kaplan textbook on writing and was responsible for training instructors on best practices in pedagogy. As someone with a wide range of experiences personally and professionally, I love helping students shape and mold their own stories to help them stand out in the crowd. In my free time, I love all things British royals, ballroom dancing, traveling internationally, and watching live theater and movies with complex plot lines.
