About Cate
When first applying to MBA programs and recruiting for consulting, I felt lost. I came from a nontraditional professional background and had no experience in the consulting world. I relied on coaches, friends, and mentors to chart my path, ultimately landing offers at top business schools and consulting firms. Now, I want to give back by sharing my experience, systems, and advice with prospective MBA students and consulting recruits to help them succeed.
Why do I coach?
I believe outsized achievement stems from strong systems, hard work, and a little bit of luck. As your coach, I'll partner with you to develop and implement systems that work for you to shape your recruitment journey, providing tangible and targeted feedback along the way. I offer resume reviews, case tutoring (frameworks and math), support with networking strategies, mock cases, and mock behavioral interviews. My Experience: - Run interview prep groups at Kellogg, mentoring and coaching groups of students through the entire consulting recruitment process - Led case tutoring workshops, teaching frameworks, case structure, and math - Experienced mock interviewer, having conducted 100+ practice case sessions and behavioral interviews - Former interviewer (corporate strategy roles)
