Carolyn’s MBA Qualifications

Carolyn has helped clients get into these schools:

As an MBA applicant, you deserve a coach who not only understands the process but has successfully guided others through it. My firsthand coaching experiences includes supporting candidates through the Bain recruiting process, and designing skill-building bootcamps at a social enterprise in East Africa. While applying for graduate school, I received offers of admission from Harvard Business School, Harvard Kennedy School, Sloan, Stanford, Tuck, and Wharton. I also was one of 80 applicants to be selected from a pool of 8,500 as a Knight-Hennessy scholar at Stanford! I know the secret sauce of what makes applications work and would be excited to share that experience with you! My approach to coaching is dynamic and personalized. I focus on helping you articulate your unique story and vision, making the MBA application process both accessible and fun. Whether it's crafting compelling essays or mastering the intricacies of interviews, I am committed to making your journey to business school both successful and enjoyable. Let's get started!

About Carolyn

Growing up, I was the youngest sibling who always wanted a younger sibling to guide and mentor. While that younger sibling never came along, I found other ways to grow my interest in coaching. In high school I led eight sophomores through an eleven day backpacking trip and in college I coached girls' lacrosse. At Bain, while I enjoyed the challenge of cracking the case, what I enjoyed most was developing excel bootcamps for my direct reports and helping them set professional goals. At One Acre Fund, one of the largest social enterprises in East Africa, my favorite project involved launching a professional development program that upskilled 2,500 sales agents. Suffice to say - I'm a people person through and through who is on a mission to help bring out the best in people -- whether that's during a point of transition, in a classroom, in a meeting, or on an athletic field. I'd love to be a part of your journey.

Why do I coach?

Coaches have profoundly shaped how I see myself and have helped me re-examine what my upper bounds are. I've gone further, faster as a result. Through my own coaching experiences I've learned that coaches offer what no one else in your life does. Unlike friends, family members, romantic partners, and colleagues, they are there to listen with undivided attention and without a biased agenda. I've experienced the magic that comes from this and want to pay it forward.
