Why do I coach?

My interest in coaching stems from a lifelong passion for mentoring and helping others grow. Over the years, I have volunteered as a lecturer at UCLA, served as a judge for the UCLA Data Fest for the past decade, and contributed as an interviewer for the UCLA Sharpe Fellowship program. I’ve also dedicated over six years to inspiring high school students through volunteering with their robotics team, fostering greater interest in STEM fields. On a personal level, I have mentored university students for more than a decade, guiding them through projects, securing internships, and landing their first jobs. I also take pride in supporting career changers from non-traditional backgrounds as they transition into the data field. I was fortunate to have an excellent mentor early in my career who played a pivotal role in building my confidence and propelling me toward the success I enjoy today. This experience has deepened my belief in the transformative power of mentorship, and it inspires me to pay it forward. Now, I am pursuing coaching to expand my impact and help even more people thrive in the data field.
