After my time at Bain & Co, I moved to an Operating Partner role in a large Private Credit fund, where I lead our distressed turnarounds (similar to a PE turnaround). I work with all teams internally - Credit, Portfolio Management, and Origination - to manage and turnaround key portfolio companies and drive EBITDA improvements. I have deep experience with Private Equity / Private Credit interviews and recruiting.

I successfully recruited into PE with multiple offers coming out of Goldman Sachs and joined THL. I then moved to a crossover software fund where I did PE & Hedge Fund style investments. I have successfully mentored over 300 professionals and students on IB, PE, and HF recruiting. I also designed a course that teaches the PE recruiting process from start to finish. I landed 6 PE / principal investing offers that I was excited about and ultimately worked at Blackstone's private equity group, focused on infrastructure companies. I avoided working in banking during and post-MBA and had a non-traditional international development background after consulting. It was a lot of self-driven work - modelling and interview practice, industry research and relentless networking - but it is replicable and I can help you do it.
