Hi, I’m Emma Jones - an incoming Associate Consultant at Bain & Company passionate about helping aspiring consultants of all backgrounds break into top firms. Fresh out of the recruiting process myself, I know firsthand what it takes to navigate today's competitive landscape, and I’m here to share the most up-to-date insights from the recent MBB recruiting cycle. I’ve got all my casing tricks still fresh in my mind, and can help you develop the confidence to tackle any consulting interview with ease. One of the most transformative experiences in my journey was participating in Bain’s Women's Leadership Summit - an experience that ultimately emboldened me to tackle the consulting recruiting process head-on. The mentorship and guidance I received at the program were invaluable in helping me secure my offer, and that experience drives my passion for helping candidates of all backgrounds find their place in consulting. After helping 5+ candidates be admitted to interview-granting diversity programs at all the MBB firms, I'm passionate about ensuring underrepresented communities are confident in their journey to consulting. What sets me apart as a coach today is my VERY fresh, hands-on experience navigating the consulting recruitment process. I've run dozens of mock case interviews from both the interviewee and interviewer side, studied case drills and frameworks for 100+ hours, and reviewed dozens of successful resumes. I understand exactly what MBB recruiters are looking for and how to position yourself as a standout candidate - regardless of background. Before Bain & Company, I built a diverse and coaching-applicable skillset and through internships at Goldman Sachs, Leland, Chevron, and several student-run consultancies where I led teams to deliver impactful, data-driven results. My experience spans finance, EdTech, and energy, but focuses on strategic problem-solving - the invaluable insight I bring to every coaching session.
