Hello! It's a pleasure to meet you! Whether you’re looking to grow in your own career, to become a better leader, to empower your team members to reach their highest potential, or are contemplating a major life or career transition, and are looking for an executive coach to partner with you on your journey, I'd love to hear what’s on your mind, and to see if we’re a good fit for each other. With over 20 years of experience in the corporate world, I've navigated the intricacies of sales, strategy, brand, marketing, and product across some of the most respected companies in the financial services, technology, and consulting industries, like Visa, JPMorgan, Chase, KKR, TransUnion, and US Bank. I've worked at and with large public companies, privately held companies, and private equity backed companies, too. In terms of professional coaching certifications, I've completed an ICF-accredited coach training program, which consisted of over 200 hours of live training, asynchronous training, peer coaching, mentor coaching, formative assessments, and a final exam, and earned 3 certifications: Certified Professional Coach (CPC); Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP); and Certified Life Coach | COR.E Transitions Dynamics™ Specialist (CTDS); I expect to earn my ICF ACC credentials in 1Q 2025. As the founder of Blue Zebra, I now dedicate my time and expertise to empowering leaders in the financial services, tech & professional services industries to achieve their personal and professional goals. I offer 1:1 coaching to individuals, as well as workshops and speaking engagements to corporate clients. I'm proud to have helped individuals at all stages of their careers, from Director level to the C-suite, and at all sorts of companies, from public to private to PE-backed and start-ups, in a variety of ways, including: - Figuring out what’s next in their career and creating an action plan to achieve it - Gaining confidence and tackling self-doubt - Addressing overwhelm and managing stress - Exploring why they're frustrated at work and what to do about it - Creating their personal brand - Building executive presence - Increasing visibility within an organization - Building their network - Becoming better communicators - Building stronger relationships - Finding and landing the jobs they never seem to hear about - Identifying and evaluating potential opportunities - Strategizing on upcoming interviews and navigating the interview process - Evaluating and negotiating offers and overall compensation packages - Transition strategies - The list goes on! What does a coaching session with me look like? - Every coaching session is unique and tailored to your individual needs, goals, and challenges (I don't offer pre-set 1:1 programs). - At the start of our coaching relationship, and every session together, I will ask you what you want to work on in our time together, and we will spend our time working on that goal. - I may introduce proprietary tools, like worksheets, exercises, & assessments, or relevant, publicly available content (podcasts, articles, experiences), if and when appropriate. - Generally, a coaching session consists of me asking you questions, making observations, and providing food for thought. - We'll end each coaching session together with you committing to specific action items, to ensure you stay accountable to yourself!

About Diana
As a second-generation American and woman in finance, tech, and professional services, a wife, and a mom of four, my career path has been a winding one, inspired by many different people and diverse experiences. I spent more than two decades of my professional life in the corporate world, living and breathing sales, strategy, brand, marketing & product in the financial services, technology and consulting industries. Passionate about leading teams to drive growth and to deliver best-in-class customer experiences, I have an incredible track record of consistently delivering measurable results, working at and with some of the most respected companies in these industries, including Visa, TransUnion, JPMorgan Chase, KKR, US Bank, Prophet, and Bounteous. After graduating with a BS in French from Georgetown, I worked a few years in consulting in Washington, DC, before moving to the Chicago area and starting my career in financial services. I earned an MBA at Kellogg while working full-time in product development and marketing at Popular Bank. While at Kellogg, I discovered brand strategy, and soon joined Prophet, a brand strategy consultancy. While I loved the work, after having my first child, I sought greater flexibility, but also an opportunity to grow professionally. I was thrilled to be offered the opportunity to join Visa as an account executive managing their relationship with US Bank; it was in this job that I realized how much I loved working with clients and leading cross-functional, cross-organizational teams to make a big impact. After nearly 10 years at Visa, I joined TransUnion in a strategic business development role working with JPMorgan Chase, and later, led market development and go-to-market for TU's mortgage business. In my most recent full-time corporate role, I led growth for the Financial Services business unit at Bounteous, an 1,800-employee, global, private equity-backed digital consultancy. In the fall of 2023, I realized it was time for me to grow in a new and different way. I took time to reflect deeply on my values, my definition of success, and my skills and talents. It dawned on me that I was the person my colleagues, clients, neighbors, friends and family would reach out to when they were thinking through complex challenges. From career moves and career reinventions, business strategies, sales and negotiation strategies, management challenges, and major life decisions, I would help them think through it all - and I loved putting my skills and experience to work in this way. I made the pivot to coaching full-time and founded Blue Zebra in 2024!
Why do I coach?
For as long as I can remember, my north star has been this quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson: “To laugh often and love much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” My passion has always been to inspire and empower others to achieve their greatest potential. As a corporate leader, I viewed my role as helping clients succeed, knowing that their success drove success for everyone around me. Now, as a professional coach & entrepreneur, my "why" remains the same: to help my clients succeed by inspiring and empowering them to achieve their greatest potential. In the last 9 months, I've had the opportunity to work with a professional coach, and it has been transformational for me. As I reflect on my own corporate journey, I wonder how it might have been different had I worked with a professional executive and career coach. In fact, I know so many of the companies I had worked at offered professional development funds ~ I wish I had thought to inquire about using my funds to hire a coach! Though I once dreamed of becoming a teacher, my career path took me into business. In every role—leader, manager, consultant, mentor—I found myself teaching and guiding others. Discovering professional coaching has allowed me to pivot into a career where I could do what I love most, every day, and to make a difference in the lives of others.
