Your core values are the beating heart of who you are, professionally and personally. They are not just abstract ideals but the principles that shape how you think, process information, connect with others, and approach your work. Knowing your 3-5 unique core values becomes a powerful tool that elevates every career stage. In job interviews, graduate school essays, or business plans, your values allow you to tell compelling, authentic stories that set you apart. As a leader, they serve as a compass, guiding how you inspire and motivate teams, making you more intentional, decisive, and influential. Most importantly, your core values are the key to managing stress, frustration, and professional discontent. When you feel off balance, overwhelmed, anxious, or burned out, it is often because something in your environment clashes with your values. Recognizing this misalignment can bring you back into synch, restoring clarity and confidence. Left unchecked, inner critics feed on this misalignment, amplifying stress, defensiveness, and self-doubt. But when you harness the power of your values, you rise above the noise with a calm, steady mind that can turn tension into insight and conflict into forward momentum. I'm looking for 1 or 2 volunteers to develop their Core Values Compass with me before the workshop and share their experience during the session. If you're interested in this opportunity, please message me explaining why you'd like to participate! Participants will receive my Core Values Compass before this dynamic workshop. We'll use it as our guide. You'll reflect on different situations in your work and life when you felt the happiest, proudest, fulfilled, and satisfied. Then, using a specially curated Core Values Card Deck, you'll actively sort and identify the 3-5 values that matter most to you. We'll end the session by sharing several specific examples of using your core values to navigate stress. Whether you're an emerging leader or a seasoned professional, this workshop will equip you with practical, actionable insights to align your work with your values, quiet your inner critic, and step into your full potential. I can't wait to guide you through this powerful experience!
