About Yoshi
I’ve taken an unconventional path through investment banking, founding a startup in South America, completing an MBA at London Business School, and leading product launches at Meta and LinkedIn—including the app for Meta's Ray-Ban smartglasses and LinkedIn’s dark mode. But the throughline has always been the same: I love helping people connect ideas to action. I’m a Japan & US dual citizen and have lived and worked across the US, Japan, Chile, and the UK. I’ve paused my career to care for my kids and later returned to lead teams building cutting-edge consumer tech. These life chapters have taught me how to thrive through uncertainty, design for impact with limited resources, and listen deeply to what people really need—skills I bring to every coaching conversation. Whether you're looking to break into product management, navigating a career pivot, or building something from zero, I’m here to offer not just frameworks and feedback, but also empathy, clarity, and momentum.
Why do I coach?
Coaching lights me up because it’s about unlocking what’s already there. Some of the most meaningful moments in my career have come not from launching a product, but from helping someone I managed or mentored grow into the next version of themselves. I love helping people draw connections—between experiences, goals, blind spots, and gut instincts. There’s something powerful about watching someone realize that the answer isn’t out there—it’s already inside them, and they just needed the right lens to see it clearly. That’s what I aim to offer: perspective, clarity, and the occasional nudge. I bring a deep bench of experience—from startups to big tech, from managing burnout to building back confidence—but the real magic is watching clients discover just how much they already bring to the table.
Work Experience

Senior Product Manager
Meta (Facebook)
January 2022 - June 2024
Founding PM on the team building the companion app used for all of Meta’s current and future wearables. Built the settings, notifications, connectivity, and multi-device UX, all while aligning app UI with Reality Labs’ new design system. My work spanned more than 16 engineering teams over two different orgs under the AR umbrella and launched at Meta Connect 2023.

Senior Product Manager
April 2018 - January 2022
2020~2021: I led product for all of LinkedIn navigation UI Infra. Highlights included launching LinkedIn’s new design system which drove multiple brand, monetization and engagement wins, launching dark mode, and cleaning up the mobile side panel (the one behind your profile icon— remember how messy it used to be??). I also launched LinkedIn’s in-product responses to the COVID-19 outbreak and 2020 election misinformation on the search, feed and notifications surfaces. 2018~2020: I was PM Lead for Japan and then International (ex-China) and built a strategy to drive growth across all emerging markets by editing our connection recommendation algorithms. This, along with market-specific initiatives, drove double-digit growth wins.
