I began my career as an investment banking analyst in Regions Bank's Restaurant Group, providing senior debt financing from $10MM to $1.2B. After three years at Regions, I taught entrepreneurship in Colombia for the United States Peace Corps before attending the University of Pennsylvania to study for an MBA from The Wharton School and an MA in International Studies from The Lauder Institute. For my MBA internship in 2021, I was a summer consultant for BCG before joining Wayflyer, an Irish fintech unicorn, as their first American underwriting hire, eventually building the US underwriting team to 9 before joining Nectar as Head of Underwriting in January 2023. Nectar funds preferred equity and mezzanine debt real estate investments I also have a BA in economics, cum laude, from Wake Forest University.
