About Victor
What do you call a Bostonian who speaks Russian to his parents but lives in London? I'm not sure either, but welcome to my world! American by birth, I've found my adopted home in the UK, where I've worked in the retail, real estate, and tech sectors. I'm a natural extrovert and enjoy bonding with people over shared interests that are frequently fitness- or food-related; some of my favo(u)rite memories with friends include racing sailboats on Lake Union in Seattle or cooking a Persian tahdig (crispy rice pie) with diplomats in Tunisia. I'm endlessly curious about the world we live in and have been fortunate enough to see a fair slice of it already; a goal of mine is to visit every country in my lifetime. When I'm not working, coaching, or traveling, you can find me sampling London's newest wine bars with my partner or enjoying lazy days sunbathing in one of the city's gorgeous green spaces. And when I find myself back stateside, I love to spend time with my parents and our family dogs, two rambunctious pomeranians named Tess and Maddie.
Why do I coach?
My coach walked into my life when I was 12 years old. I didn't know it at the time--and neither did he--but our chance meeting on the sidelines of a seventh grade play would lead to nearly two decades of professional guidance, life advice, moral support, and most recently, friendship. Following Tony's stellar example, I coach in the hopes that I may be that much-needed support system to someone else.
