As a current Harvard DMD candidate and private tutor, I have a deep understanding of the dental school admissions process and what it takes to succeed. For those curious about my application cycle: I applied to 11 schools, received interview invites to 10 schools, interviewed at 8 programs, and was accepted to 6 programs--including Harvard (where I now attend), UCLA (as an out-of-state applicant) with a Dean's scholarship, and UT Health Houston (as an out-of-state applicant) with their "Glenn T. Housholder Competetive Scholarship", which meant I would receive in-state tuition in addition to the scholarship money they were offering me.
