Taylor’s Management Consulting Qualifications
Experience level: Associate
I’ve gone from “zero to hero” in one month and can help you do the same. I created a networking strategy and sent cold emails (described by one McKinsey consultant as “fantastic”) to secure 50+ networking calls with pro consultants at MBB+Kearney+LEK+EYP+OW. Ran over a dozen cases with those consultants plus multiple practice behavioral interviews, receiving critical feedback where I rarely received the same advice twice— I know how to implement and “level up” with each practice rep, making the little changes time by time to be “practically perfect.” I didn’t come from a target school and I didn’t have a recognizable name internship. But I had drive, honed my story, perfected my application materials, and sought out the right advice. I networked first, submitted second, and then threw myself into the fire with prepping for interviews and by the end of that prep the professional BCG consultants were telling me: “this was the best I’ve ever seen this case done”, “you solved that case way faster than most”, and “anything you can do before your final interviews? Rest. You don’t need to run any more practice cases.” That’s the advice I have for you. You can only be assured you’re offer-ready once you’re honestly told: “you don’t need to run anymore practice cases.” It took two BCGers telling me that before I believed them, but you can imagine how confidently I was able to enter my final interviews having heard that assurance. I’m specifically interested in helping to strategize your path to the offer and helping you prepare to crush your case interviews! I’m also uniquely well-suited to advise LGBT+ applicants on navigating recruiting with MBB and other elite consulting firms.

About Taylor
Incoming BCG Associate from non-target school who went from not knowing what BCG was to receiving an offer in 30 days. Received offers from Boston Consulting Group and EY-Parthenon. I’ve worked with over a dozen MBB consultants and incoming consultants during my prep process, running 25 practice cases before my final round interviews for BCG. Was told by pro consultants at the end of my prep: “you did the best job I’ve ever seen with this case” and “you solved that case way faster than normal” and “anything you can do before your final interviews? Rest. You don’t need to run any more practice cases.” That’s my advice for those who work with me. Only when more than one pro tells you: “you don’t need to run any more practice cases” is when you know you’re offer-material. I’ve coached a half-dozen of MBB-hopefuls before, choosing to forge a 1:1 relationship and become a resource for help throughout the application and interviewing process. If you decide we’re a great fit, I’m happy to connect on LinkedIn and answer any of your one-off questions.
Why do I coach?
Coming from a non-target school, I had no connections I didn’t make myself. I feel the need to give back and help others like me receive offers! I managed to go from not knowing what “MBB” was to having an offer in my hand within a month by creating a personal strategy to network, refining my application materials, and practicing for case and behavioral interviews. Without the kind help of many BCG consultants (in addition to McKinsey, Bain, LEK, EY-Parthenon, and Kearney consultants), I wouldn’t have been able to learn how to craft my master plan for recruitment and hone my case skills in only 25 practice cases before my final round interviews at BCG. I’m also specifically well-suited to help other LGBT+ applicants navigate additional recruitment pathways for consulting.
