About Tal

I am currently an MBA student at Stanford's Graduate School of Business, where I'm pursuing a joint degree with an MS in Environmental Studies as a Knight Hennessy Scholar. Prior to Stanford, I spent 9 years in the Israeli military. I started my service by going through the Israeli Naval Academy, one of the most rigorous leadership programs that the Israeli Military has to offer. After graduating from the academy I served as an officer and as a department commander on an vessel, a rule in which I mentored sailors and junior officers in their career path, many of which were promoted and are now serving in senior leadership roles in the Israeli Navy. I served as an instructor and team commander in the Naval Academy where I led the leadership training for cadets while managing the admissions committee for classified roles. In this capacity, I had the honor to lead dozens of cadets through meaningful leadership development, career decision-making, and personal growth processes. I've mentored dozens of people coming from "non-traditional" backgrounds in their decision-making process around business school and helped them get into top-tier schools and scholarship programs.
