About Sydney
My road to joining Stanford GSB’s deferred MBA program was an exciting challenge full of insights I am eager to share. It all started with a new joint-degree program in Business & Global Affairs at Georgetown University. This unique experiential learning curriculum allowed me to travel internationally to countries such as Ghana, The Dominican Republic, and Haiti to consult government agencies, NGOs, and corporations (notably Gap Inc. and sweetgreen). Meaningful collaboration with my 35-student cohort solidified my love for working in teams and provided me with real-world project experience that I was able to draw from throughout my consulting recruiting and deferred MBA processes. This global journey inspired me to join BCG and Stanford GSB to enhance my cross-sector problem-solving abilities, essential to a future of leading responsible multinational development. Dynamic mentors in Georgetown’s social impact consulting club enabled my success by educating me about the consulting industry and sharing their firsthand recruiting experiences. As a coach, I seek to pay this mentorship forward. With 3 years of experience supporting mentees navigate consulting recruiting and having recently completed my own deferred MBA application process, I bring an immersive and relatable perspective to coaching. My job is to help you craft your story and successfully articulate your narrative in the form of resumes, application essays, and interviews. I believe that planning and practice are crucial, so I aim to offer accessible and dedicated support to ensure you are confident in your application and interviews.
