About Sulekha

Sulekha Ramayya is currently an MBA student at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining the GSB, she spent time as an investor at KKR where she invested in technology and healthcare assets from Series B / growth stage to late-stage buyout. She started her career at Goldman Sachs as an investment banking analyst where she worked on a variety of M&A and financing transactions for Fortune 500 companies. More recently, she has spent time working as a VC investor at Emerson Collective and has advised a number of early-stage startups on their strategy and product development. She graduated from the University of Southern California as the University Valedictorian with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. In her free time, Sulekha is a fan of international adventure travel, loves trying plant-focused restaurants, and works on her non-profit, Mylaria, which is focused on combatting malaria with the longer-term goal of achieving global health equity. She took a non-traditional path to finance and loves coaching people on breaking into the industry.
