About Shifu

I am a senior engineer and career coach with 8+ years of experience in backend infrastructure, distributed systems, and cloud computing at Snap, Google and Amazon. With years of experience as an interviewer at Google, Amazon, and Snap, I has conducted lots of technical interviews (coding and system design), gaining deep insights into what top companies look for in candidates. Having completed multiple internships during college, I can also share insider strategies on excelling as an intern, making a lasting impact, and converting internships into full-time offers.

Why do I coach?

Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how the right guidance can accelerate growth and open doors to top-tier opportunities. Having navigated my own journey from intern to solid Senior-Level Engineer, I’m passionate about helping others break into elite tech companies, master technical interviews, and grow into leadership roles.
