As an experienced consultant recruiter for campus programs at BCG who also joined the firm through a non-traditional path, I help students across from many backgrounds prepare themselves for their next step in consulting. My consulting experience directly stems from my current experience at the Boston Consulting Group, a top-tier consulting firm, where I have helped lead our campus recruiting efforts across the US. I entered the firm as a generalist before entering our Real Estate practice and have been involved officially and unofficially in aiding students preapre applications, which has included practicing case interviews, crafting a pitch, reviewing resumes and cover letters, honing in soft interview answers, and creating personalized recruiting strategies across all MBB or beyond. My own path to recruiting for consulting was non-traditional as I started my career in a Finance role for ExxonMobil, where I realized that I wanted to be involved in high-level strategic decision making for firms in order to make a real impact across the world. This led me to recruit for consulting firms, where I had to navigate the complicated world of non-campus recruiting since I was coming in as a lateral experienced hire. My experience through the non-traditional process has helped me paint a blueprint for many others who have come after and place other students at MBB from similar backgrounds. Whether it be traditional recruiting or not, I am always excited to help students pursue their ambitions of joining management consulting. I have loved working in the space as we drive real world decisions across some of the biggest companies in the world, and we are always excited to work with the best and brightest students in their journey!
