About Sean
I was raised in a middle-class Western New York family. Growing up, I believed every problem could be solved the one best way. I studied engineering at the University at Buffalo. I moved to Berkeley to attend graduate school. I learned more engineering and statistics, and I also started realizing that one size did not fit all, and that there wasn't always one best way. I live in San Mateo County now with my wife. We have two adult children who are pursuing their educational passions on opposite coasts. Kids will teach you all about life & the importance of being flexible and open-minded. I look forward to meeting with you!
Why do I coach?
I coach because I see it as the most effective way to develop your career and make progress. I had three great coaches during my career. Sharon helped me become a better manager of people. She was patient, kind, and worked hard to understand me. Dan was insightful and listened more closely to me than anyone ever had before. He challenged my beliefs in an fun way, I call it learning through laughter. Jeff was enthusiastic and always had a new management model to share with me. His faith and belief in my goodness and gifts was an inspiration. So, I want to develop my coaching practice so that I can help people as I was helped.
