About Sarrah
If you're reading this, thank you for taking a peek at my profile! My name is Sarrah (pronounced Star-rah, drop the "t") and I am a recent graduate of the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce. I studied IT, Management, and Data Science, bridging my passion for using business and technology to drive equitable change. I come from a humble low-income background as the oldest and only daughter of immigrants and sister to four younger brothers, so I have developed a trailblazing, mentoring, and community-oriented mindset for life. I am always looking to uplift, endorse, and empower students so they are able to create/achieve something, even when the odds are stacked against them. I've lived in Atlanta, Tampa, Virginia, and Houston, but will return to Atlanta full-time in October for my role as a Business Analyst at McKinsey!
Why do I coach?
I am ready to help as many students as I can before I start my full-time role! I received a wealth of support throughout my journey and can only hope to pay it forward in this way. For this reason, I am committed to everyone's success and extremely flexible on price; just talk to me! As someone who's been supporting my family since the age of 11, I understand how a price tag can make or break a dream. But I ask that you bet on yourself and ask for help if you need; let's go get you your dream offer!

Career Peer Educator
University of Virginia
May 2022 - June 2024
Career Peer Educators (CPEs) are full-time undergraduates who serve as a bridge between the Career Center and students. They support the UVA Career Center mission by expanding the Career Center's ability to reach students through staffing office hours, giving outreach workshops, and supporting career community programs. CPEs strive to empower students to feel confident in their career development by equipping them with personalized resources and sharing relevant peer experiences. Career Peer Educators serve as ambassadors of the Career Center to the student body, and are trained by career counselors on various aspects of the career planning process – everything from interviewing and job search resources to resume and cover letter reviews – so that CPEs can offer one-of-a-kind advice as student leaders for their peers on almost any career-related topic. CPEs accomplish these objectives and interact with the student body through office hours, outreach & workshops, and career center support!
