About Ryan
I grew up as a diplomat’s kid, moving across countries and cultures throughout my childhood. It taught me early on how to adapt, connect with people from all walks of life, and embrace the unknown. Those experiences shaped my career in technology consulting, where I’ve worked with diverse teams to deliver impactful solutions for clients around the world. From transforming financial systems for federal agencies to leading Salesforce implementations for global banks, I’ve built a career on solving complex problems and driving meaningful change. During my time at Deloitte, I specialized in product management and customer experience design, working across industries to deliver user-focused solutions. I led cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and business analysts on multi-million-dollar projects, including the largest Salesforce financial services implementation to date. Beyond project delivery, I’m passionate about teaching and mentoring—whether it’s training 2,000+ university students in Salesforce skills or helping colleagues navigate career transitions. Currently, I’m pursuing a dual MBA and MS in Design Innovation at Kellogg, focusing on human-centered design, product management, and design thinking. These disciplines are at the heart of my approach to problem-solving. I believe the best solutions come from deeply understanding the people you’re trying to help. Whether it’s through ethnographic research, prototyping, or testing, I aim to create products and strategies that truly meet user needs. I’m also heading to INSEAD Singapore for a study abroad program, which reflects my lifelong desire to build a global career and life. Outside of work and school, I’m an adventure seeker who’s always looking for new experiences. I’ve tried everything from bungee jumping to completing the Spartan trifecta in Hawaii. I’m also a huge foodie, constantly on the hunt for the best local spots and unusual eats (yes, I’ve eaten scorpion). But what I enjoy most is helping others find their path. Whether it’s guiding someone through a career pivot, preparing for business school, or breaking into a new industry, I believe in leveling the playing field and opening doors for others the way mentors have done for me. If you’re looking for a coach who combines a global perspective with a deep focus on user-centered solutions, I’d love to help. My approach is rooted in listening, understanding, and working together to create a plan that fits your unique goals. Whether you’re exploring new opportunities, preparing for a major transition, or trying to break into a competitive field, I’m here to share what I’ve learned and help you succeed.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I’ve seen firsthand how guidance and support can open doors and transform lives. Throughout my career, I’ve had mentors who believed in me, pushed me to grow, and helped me navigate critical transitions. Their impact inspired me to pay it forward, and I’ve made it a priority to help others achieve their goals. From teaching thousands of university students marketable Salesforce skills to co-founding a nonprofit that provides scholarships to deserving Asian fraternity members, I’ve always been passionate about giving back. I know how challenging it can be to break into a new industry, navigate a career pivot, or tackle the uncertainty of a major life decision. That’s why I aim to level the playing field—offering the kind of support that can make those challenges less daunting. Coaching, for me, is about understanding each person’s unique story and helping them find the path that’s right for them. Whether you’re preparing for business school, exploring new industries, or trying to break into a competitive role, I’m here to share my experiences, insights, and practical advice to help you succeed. My approach is simple: listen, guide, and empower. I coach because I believe in the power of opportunity—and in the importance of helping others make the most of theirs.
