From an early age, I learned that discipline, hard work, listening, and building meaningful relationships often outweigh being the most intelligent person in the room. Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 5, I’ve gained a unique perspective on resilience and the power of maintaining a positive outlook. My determination has been tested at various points in life, but one moment I’m most proud of is the eight months I spent tirelessly working to earn a spot off the waitlist at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, where I earned my MBA from 2019–2021. That experience taught me the value of perseverance, self-belief, and leaning on others for guidance—lessons that have deeply shaped my desire to support others in their own professional and personal journeys. I know firsthand how overwhelming and uncertain career transitions or big goals can feel, and I’m passionate about being the type of thought partner and mentor who helps others uncover their unique strengths and take actionable steps toward their aspirations. I am passionate about mentorship and professional development because I believe that learning from others' experiences is one of the most impactful ways to accelerate personal and professional growth. Throughout my career, I've found that incorporating the lessons and insights shared by mentors into my own path has been instrumental in my progression and more importantly, has given me the confidence, inspiration, and motivation to continue growing. Receiving mentorship at different stages of my career has not only helped me navigate challenges but to also recognize and seize a variety of opportunities that I would have otherwise been closed off to.
