About Rico

I spent over 20 years in creative leadership roles in many industries from ecommerce, to cybersecurity, entertainment, edtech and more. Most of my career was spent establishing, building and leading creative and design teams for Zappos.com and Netflix. During my career, I battled with a fear of failure, imposter syndrome, and the feeling of never being enough. This comes from my humble background and humble upbringing. I didn't go to the best schools or even get the best grades and I was the youngest who wasn't expected to be successful. BUT in spite of all of that, I built myself a 7-figure a year career in tech while starting and running multiple small businesses. I tell this story because I felt like I had a lot to prove. I felt like I was less than. BUT I was able to work through it, get the coaching and mentorship I needed and to become successful on my terms. So many people invested in me and now I get to pay it forward. I used to get paid well to create things and teams. Now I help people create the lives and careers they've always wanted. If you want silence those doubts and live from a place of gratitude and abundance, then we'll go farther than you ever thought possible. Let me be your partner in action and success.

Why do I coach?

I coach because everyone deserves to create the life they've always wanted. Life is so short and to precious to be spent in fear, doubt and "what if". Many people helped me find success on my terms and build a 7-figure career that I walked away from happily, because I knew what I valued most. I worked through my imposter syndrome, my constant state of "worry" and my fears of money and failure to build the life I've always wanted. Without coaching and mentorship, I'd still be grinding and looking for my "next big thing". If I can get over these fears and doubt, you can too. I want to pay it all forward and provide the same coaching and mentorship that helped me achieve everything I've always wanted.
