About Rebecca

I am a consulting leader who has held leadership roles at IDEO, the world's leading innovation consulting firm, and Deloitte Digital, where I progressed from an MBA intern to Associate Partner. I have navigated career switching three times, and admissions to two prestigious institutions - Cornell and NYU Stern. I bring my life experience to coaching as both a MBA candidate and consulting leader. I know how difficult and emotionally taxing the ups and downs of a career can be. Starting with limited financial resources and a small network I learned how to find mentors, frame (and reframe) my story, gain new skills, and navigate the emotions of a career pivot. As someone from a low-income background, I believe in the potential of those from all walks of life to excel in academic and professional environments. I provide custom coaching to all clients - helping them build their confidence and uncover their natural talents. I'm thrilled to work with clients of all backgrounds and particularly enjoy helping individuals navigate consulting interviews, consulting promotions, and exits from consulting to industry. I also coach clients on the basics of design-thinking and innovation, and how to incorporate these skills into their consulting practice.

Why do I coach?

I believe coaching has the power to help individuals navigate uncertain moments, clarify their ambitions, and take actions aligned with their values. Each person has immense potential but obstacles can get in the way - self-doubt, jumbled storytelling, lack of knowledge. As a coach I bring a set of interpersonal skills and first-hand knowledge of the consulting industry. My coaching philosophy is rooted in what is best for the client and aligned to their values. I landed my dream job leading innovation teams at IDEO, the world's leading design firm. On paper the career journey looks linear, but in reality I felt immense uncertainly at nearly every career decision. Coaches guided me to take greater risks, make values-aligned choices, and navigate trade offs to land where I am today. I would be thrilled to help others feel supported as they land their dream job or school offer!
