About Pravesh

I am a resident physician in a top tier program in Los Angeles. I was admitted to UCLA on a full ride and graduated with a degree in Psychobiology summa cum laude. I then obtained a scholarship to attend Loyola Stritch School of Medicine where I then graduated with honors and distinction in research. Having been on admissions committees during medical school and having gone through over 20 medical school and residency interviews, I know what it takes to not only gain acceptance into medical school but succeed beyond. I founded Pre-Med Prep as a way for me to reach the masses and create a structured and organized coaching company to help students in every and any aspect of the medical school or residency application process. The company has grown to also provide coaching for any healthcare profession including nursing, PA, NP, Dental, Psychology, and more.

Why do I coach?

I help Pre-Med and Medical students gain admission into medical school/residency because I have found a great sense of purpose in helping the next wave of students become physicians. I have found the application process to be unrealistically complicated with an innumerable amount of nuances that simply serve as systemic barriers to students achieving their dreams. Thousands of highly intelligent students go unmatched or without interviews during the medical school/residency application cycles to factors beyond their control. I strive to help students overcome these barriers in order to fully realize their potential as future doctors.
