Patricia’s MBA Qualifications

Open to working with clients outside the U.S.

As a Duke Fuqua MBA graduate and Forte Fellow, I bring both firsthand experience and a deep commitment to helping aspiring MBAs succeed. During my time at Fuqua, I served as a Career Fellow and Co-Director of the Sustainable Business & Social Impact Conference, gaining unique insights into what top business schools seek in applicants. My current role at LinkedIn as a Product Operations Manager, along with a background in business transformation and marketing, gives me a comprehensive view of the intersection between business strategy and personal branding. I understand the challenges and opportunities of the MBA journey, especially for non-traditional candidates, and can guide you in crafting a compelling, authentic application that stands out to admissions committees. Let’s work together to make your MBA dreams a reality, building an application that reflects your unique strengths and aligns with your professional goals!

About Patricia

I am a Forté Fellow and a Duke MBA graduate, with a passion for empowering people to achieve their potential via technology and education. I am excited to bring my diverse perspective, experiences, and competencies to help you craft your perfect application strategy, essays and resume - especially for those who may consider themselves "non-traditional" MBA candidates, as I once did too. Before deciding to get an MBA I completed a year of service in a middle school as a full-time tutor, was a founding member of the marketing team at the national non-profit Year Up, and created unique customer marketing campaigns with marketing and sales technology at the global technology company, LogMeIn (now GoTo). During my two years at Duke, I focused on rounding out my strategic leadership skills through a mix of academic coursework (ex: Sustainable Business Strategy, Leadership, and Strategic Implementation) and leadership roles (ex: Co-Director of the 17th Annual Sustainable Business & Social Impact Conference, Career Fellow, Fuqua Client Consulting Practicum Fellow). Fuqua led me to LinkedIn, where I was first on the Business Productivity team as a Senior Business Transformation Consultant, functioning as the connective tissue between the Global Support organization, internal tooling and process design. From here I transitioned to LinkedIn's Product Operations team, where I now directly partner with our Product and Engineering teams to help prioritize and build our internal technology (think: CRMs, routing engines, internal AI Agents) to enable our teams to provide customers the best support. When I am not working, I love running around Central Park, listening to live music, or reading a good book (historical fiction preferably!).

Why do I coach?

As a non-traditional MBA candidate, having a support system was critical to building my confidence, nailing my "why" and ultimately making the decision to go to business school. Once in Business School, while I navigated the competitive MBA Internship process, I heavily leaned on my "Career Fellow" and other Second Years who could provide guidance and support, and frankly helped me keep my head held high in an overwhelming process. Their roles as both coach and cheerleaders were what made me passionate about the power of coaching - and I hope to bring with me to anyone I am coaching!
