About Natalie
Hi, I’m Natalie! I’m currently a student at the Harvard Kennedy School getting my Masters in Public Policy. I’m originally from the Pacific Northwest and spending time outside is a constant through my life. Before graduate school I attended Whitman College, where I studied Politics & Environmental Studies, played DIII basketball, was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, and worked in the wine industry. After college I moved to Seattle and have spent time working on campaigns and at the State Legislature. Now, I’m most passionate about finding innovative solutions the problems facing our world and creating sustainable communities where all people can thrive.
Why do I coach?
I’m here to help young people thrive. Our world relies on the thoughtful, creative, and innovative students who are going to enter the workforce and push our communities to progress. I believe that one of two essential pieces in empowering youth to succeed is helping them learn to communicate — to tell stories that are meaningful, moving, and motivating, and confidence — a sureness about who you are and what you can achieve. In my journey through higher education I was lucky to have strong mentors who helped instill in me these ideals and I hope to empower others by sharing them.
