Why do I coach?

Throughout my time at UCLA School of Law, where I’m specializing in Media & Entertainment, Technology, and Critical Race Studies Law, I’ve been heavily involved in leadership roles, such as being Editor in Chief of the National Black Law Journal and Chief Diversity Editor of the UCLA Law Review. My professional experiences, including legal clerkships and internships at firms like Hogan Lovells and Eventbrite, have given me insight into how different industries work, especially in entertainment and corporate law. Because of what I’ve learned, I’ve spent hundreds of hours coaching and mentoring others through law school and undergraduate applications, elite graduate fellowship processes, and career decisions in various law firms. I’ve helped friends gain acceptance to top law schools like Columbia, UCLA, Penn, and even win prestigious fellowship awards like the SEO Law Fellowship and UCLA Achievement Fellowship. I’m also passionate about work-life balance, especially in fast-paced environments, and I love helping others figure out how to achieve both professional success and personal fulfillment. If you're looking for advice or mentorship, feel free to reach out—I'd love to connect! Let's get you in to your goal school(s)!
