About Max

I’m a Stanford GSBer with a long-time interest in mentorship and a passion for coaching. I've been helping MBA applicants through the admissions process for six years, and my clients have earned spots at programs including GSB, HBS, Wharton, Sloan, Kellogg, Ross, Booth, Haas, Columbia, & Rice. Following my undergrad at Rice University, where I played rugby and triple-majored (don’t ask) in Statistics, Psychology, and Managerial Studies, I kickstarted my career in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Bank. After my analyst years there, I joined New York’s largest children’s hospital working with the COO and Director of Strategy & Finance on a range of strategy, finance, and operations projects. At GSB I focused on startups and leadership, and since graduating, I’ve had the pleasure of consulting for early-stage companies and the firms that invest in them, as well as coaching current and aspiring founders 1:1. As an MBA admissions coach, I take a holistic approach, focusing from day one on understanding who you are as a person and applicant. I spend a chunk of time upfront getting to know you and identifying the threads that, when woven together into a compelling story, will best capture the complexity of you and your aspirations. I am reliably detail-oriented, curious, and committed to guiding and supporting you throughout the process. I will always be honest about where you are and what I think you still need to do to build an exceptional application.
