About Kathryn
I'm a Stanford GSB alum currently working in VC, and I have been helping friends and family through the application process for the last 5 years. Folks I have helped out have gone to GSB, HBS, Wharton, Booth, McCombs, and Fuqua. I grew up in Texas, went to Vanderbilt for undergrad, and started my career in management consulting at Deloitte. Financial inclusion has long been a passion of mine, so I joined NerdWallet in Business Operations before matriculating at Stanford for business school. At GSB, I led the Tech Club and spent time getting to know the venture capital landscape. For the past four years I've been an investor at Norwest Venture Partners ($12.5B AUM). As a coach, I love helping you find where you shine and best communicate your experiences and aspirations in order to achieve your goals. If you are applying to business school, my focus is helping you show admissions committees a calm confidence that is reflective of a future leader. I can help you think through the application in a structured manner, strike the right balance of personal and professional narratives, and enjoy what is inevitably an intense process. I’m here to help your MBA application be filled with thoughtful self-reflection rather than the product of an existential crisis (which I’ve seen many people struggle with).
