I have 10 years of product experience spanning B2B and B2C product. I started my career as an APM at TripAdvisor and worked my way up to Lead PM for LinkedIn’s Employer Brand Business, helping match companies and jobseekers based on shared values. As a senior IC, I get my hands dirty daily and can give you concrete, actionable advice and frameworks (not high level fluff). About Kaitlin

My career in Product Management began by accident as a recent college grad with a degree in Spanish. Yes, Spanish. I vividly remember googling “what is product management?” right before the interview. While my knowledge of product management has grown over the past 10 years, the memory of that feeling of being way out of my element still sticks with me. So, whether you’re looking to break into product or are early in your product career and eager to sharpen your skills, I’m here to help as someone who has been in your shoes. A bit more about my credentials: I spent the first five years of my career at TripAdvisor. I started as a rotational APM learning the ins and outs of everything from scaling a notifications platform to brand marketing. I worked my way up to Senior PM where I built my first 0 to 1 product - user generated “Trips” where travelers can save and share recommendations for hotels, restaurants, and activities in their favorite destinations. In 2019 I joined LinkedIn, working first on consumer content products (newsletters, articles, short form video) before making a move internally to lead LinkedIn’s Employer Brand business. I delivered a turnaround strategy for the business, resulting in a 5x increase in internal resources and now lead a team of 20+ engineers and cross functional partners spanning R&D and GTM. My work has been featured by Forbes, Quartz, and by several TikTok influencers. I did a brief stint in people management before realizing I missed being in the weeds of building product. I’m happiest knee deep in a Figma file debating different UX patterns with the team. On a personal note: I live in New York City, am a proud cat mom, and love travel.
