About JD

Before you know anything about me, you should remember that YOU are the hero of your dental school journey!! My primary experience comes from my role as the Pre-Dental Chair for Ohio State, meaning I work closely with both admissions and the pre-dental club to create success for our students. Through this role I have mentored dozens of students on just about every topic relating to dental school ranging from simple questions to total application review. Additionally, I have created and hosted workshops on topics such as personal statements, and am currently working to add more (mock interviews and mentorship programs). Adding to my list of pre-dental experience, I also serve as a District Pre-Dental Chair where I serve as an advisor to multiple schools and host events such as our 6 week summer lecture series “Introduction to Dentistry”. I created this series to cover a variety of topics aimed at teaching students what they can expect in their first few weeks of dental school, as well as a tips and tricks to overcome those obstacles.
