About Joe
I provide private, one-on-one college advising for high school students who are looking to enroll in universities. I guide you through this important and complex process from start to finish. Each applicant is provided a custom admissions roadmap tailored to match students with the right college. My goal is to take the pressure off families and to introduce new and innovative choices that provide applicants with the experience they want while setting them up for a bright future.
Why do I coach?
I help guide students through the admissions and recruiting process because college was such a life-changing experience. I attribute every bit of success in my professional and personal life to the lessons I learned on the baseball field and in the classroom during those four years at Sonoma State. My experience led me to opportunities to travel the world (for free!), taught me how to deal with failure, showed me the power of hard work and determination, and introduced me to all of my life-long friends. I work hard every day to provide that experience to as many young people as possible.

Sonoma State University
Bachelor's, History
2004 - 2009
I attended Sonoma State University as an undergrad. I majored in History, but my main purpose was playing baseball! I chose Sonoma State because it was constantly ranked as one of the best Division 2 schools in the country. During my time there, we were ranked #1 in the Nation, compiled a 26-game win streak, and went to the semi-finals of the College World Series.
