Jessica Roffe is a professor and college administrator turned career counselor. In her 10+ years working at the University of Maryland, she has advised thousands of college students and taught courses like “Choosing Your Major and Career.” She also won a Distinguished Teaching Award, which is given to those who earned the highest teaching evaluations the previous semester. Jessica attended Columbia University’s Teachers College and the University of Maryland, College Park.
Why do I coach?
Jessica’s coaching career is a product of her passion for setting students and young professionals up for career happiness and financial success. She recognizes that many young people have no idea where to start when it comes to navigating their careers and often institutions are overwhelmed and unable to provide the individual support that college students need. Jessica aims to be a personal resource who students and recent graduates can come to for any and all career questions, ranging from where to search for jobs and internships to how to build a compelling resume to how to network with professionals to how to form strong interview responses. She also helps clients define their interests, skills, and values and explore careers that best fit their unique traits. Jessica looks forward to working with you!
