About Jesse

I grew up in SLC, Utah where I went to a normal public school, got average test scores, and came from a middle-income family that was not well-connected. Fast forward to today, I have an MBA from the #2 ranked program by Financial Times (INSEAD) and was accepted by the two other programs I applied for (Berkeley and Oxford). My professional experience includes a myriad of roles across Walmart Inc including accounting, finance, strategy, and product management roles. There were certainly obstacles to get where I am today, not least of which was having two children by the age 28. My family has always been my top priority, so I've learned to become incredibly resourceful in order to reach my goals. If you're reading this, there's a good chance that you're a better test-taker and have more time and access to resources than I had. I got into these programs because I am strategic and understand how tell an authentic story with an audience in mind. I'm a passionate teacher and love helping others craft their stories and strategize how to reach their goals.
