Jenni’s Chief of Staff Qualifications
Experience level: Vice President
10+ people coached for Chief of Staff
I served as a Vice President in the Office of the CEO at BlackRock for over three years. In that time, I was responsible for the strategy and engagements related to our international markets, the World Economic Forum, and the Aspen Institute. I worked alongside senior executives to shape the firm's engagement with policymakers, clients, and stakeholders across markets, leverage the CEO's time effectively, and brief and staff him. I also was responsible for writing the CEO's bi-monthly presentation to the Board of Directors and regularly worked with external partners to shape public appearances.

About Jenni
I am an MBA candidate at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). I was also admitted to Harvard Business School and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and previously spent 6 years working at BlackRock in New York. At BlackRock, I worked on the Chief of Staff team for the Chairman and CEO running strategy for the firm's international markets, the World Economic Forum, and the Aspen Institute. Prior to BlackRock, I graduated with honors from The University of Michigan. My services include recruiting for chief of staff and business strategy roles and the MBA application process (including school selection, deadline setting, understanding unique application prompts, essay/short answer brainstorming and editing, and interview preparation).
Why do I coach?
I hired an MBA consultant (and shortly thereafter, fired an MBA consultant) and felt that there was a gap in the market for more personalized support. Even high-end coaching services often provide generic brainstorming resulting in formulaic recommendations. I had success in the application process and want to share my approach with others to ease the burden of the process and help candidates stand out - especially when they think their story is not unique. I also have specific insights into the Chief of Staff role that is becoming more commonplace across organizations. I am able to help candidates form a point of view on how to make the role impactful and position themselves as a strategic partner to the executive.
