About Jake
I'm a startup engineering leader/executive who came up through the front-end ranks. I love the early stage stage companies have thrived in building organizations and careers at fast growing companies. It can be tricky to navigate the growth curve of a team/company, the transitions into tech, from IC to management, and from management to executive, and I'd love to help more people tackle those challenges.
Why do I coach?
Of all the moments in my career, far and away my favorite are seeing the success of people who I've helped along the way. I'm serious. A text message from former employees letting me know they got the big promotion, the lunches where I get to hear about them experience the payoff of putting in the work the right way, the chances to be a reference for big leaps in their career: those are the BIG moments for me.
