About Jack

I'm a Stanford GSB MBA - with a non-traditional background. I am an experienced Private Equity operator, former consultant, and operational restructuring specialist. I am currently Head of Strategic Finance at Alpine Investors. I have previously worked at Amplity Health (an Altamont Capital Partners portfolio company) as Chief of Staff and at PwC as a Manager within Business Recovery Services, focused on Operational Restructuring and Turnaround. Early in my career, I worked as a Performance Analyst at the BBC. As a coach, I bring an honest, open, and alternative perspective to the application process. I'm experienced at helping prospective MBAs think through "why business school" and explore career paths. Further, I'm skilled at helping applicants authentically frame their diverse experiences - helping them identify what "seat" they are applying for and why admissions committees will choose them. I enjoy working with all applicants, especially international, LGBTQ, and non-traditional backgrounds.
