Package Description:

Comprehensive support throughout the law school application cycle: - Initial Consultation and Assessment: We'll begin with an in-depth, 30 minute consultation to understand your academic and testing profile, extracurricular activities, work experience, and ultimate goals. I’ll assess your strengths, and tailor our approach accordingly. - School Selection and Application Strategy: I’ll help you put together a well-balanced school list based on your profile, preferences, and goals. We will then develop an individualized application strategy that highlights your strengths and mitigates any perceived obstacles, and craft a timeline. - Resume: I will help optimize your resume for the law school application - this resume looks different than a job application resume. -Letters of Recommendation: We’ll identify the best people to approach for recommendation letters, and I will help you create a package that will adequately prepare and support them. - Personal Statement: We will brainstorm and outline a compelling personal statement that highlights your experiences, background and goals, and demonstrates your potential as a law student. I’ll edit and provide feedback for up to five drafts including reducing word count, if necessary. If there are other required essays, we will work together on those as well, in the same manner. - Optional Statements and Addenda: We’ll go through optional essay prompts, additional information sections, and whether addenda will help your overall application. I will help ensure that your responses are well-crafted and consistent with your overall application. - If needed we will thoughtfully prepare Character and Fitness essay(s) that help to mitigate any perceived risks that an admissions committee may have concerns about. - Interview Prep: If invited to interview, I will provide preparation support and conduct a mock interview with you, with detailed feedback. -Waitlists: I will offer guidance on waitlist strategies, if applicable, to enhance your chances of admission. -Decisions: Once you have your admissions offers, I will help you sort through your options and negotiate more financial aid, if it makes sense to do so.

Partner with a former Stanford Law School Admissions Officer!

As a former Associate Director of Admissions at Stanford Law School, I have read thousands of applications front to back, and have a deep understanding of what top law schools are looking for. It is more than just trying to 'stand out' from the crowd. You will need to craft a highly compelling story so that you convince the admissions committee that you have amazing potential as a law student, AND you will make a valuable contribution. I have many years of experience helping prospective law students gain admission to their dream schools - even those with less than optimal GPAs and LSAT scores. I am a strong believer that an applicant is more than the numbers - but the essay is the make-it or break-it factor. I will be your thought partner and supportive advisor from start to finish. I have expertise developing individualized time lines, school lists, letters of recommendation, resumes, essays (required and optional), character and fitness paragraphs, managing waitlists and even negotiating financial aid awards. I am here to answer any question that may come up throughout this time consuming and oftentimes overwhelming process, and we will have fun working together. You can do this, and I am here to help!
