I spent 4 years at Google Cloud doing Sales Ops and Strategy / GTM. During that time, I: - led the APAC Sales Ops team, doing everything from daily calls with customers to help identify potential deal blockers, to weekly pipeline analysis & forecasting, and yearly quota calculations - drove the adoption of new processes & tools to improve deal-close rates and make the sales teams more efficient - developed & led sales enablement trainings to global teams - created and managed cross-functional launch plans for new products, and analyzed new product demand forecasts to assess the potential risks I am happy to help with any topics relating to CRM management & analysis, sales forecasting & planning, quotas, sales processes, and product launches.

About Giselle
I'm Brazilian, but moved to the USA when I was 19 and spent the next 10 years there. During that time, I lived in Indiana (during college), Chicago, San Francisco, and NYC. I also studied abroad in Italy, and did my MBA in Singapore & France. So if you have any questions about moving around or living abroad, I can help :) Now about my career: I started my career doing Technology & Strategy consulting focused on Big Data & Machine Learning projects for healthcare. Later on, I specialized in innovation consulting, working with clients to plan for technologies that were disrupting / challenging their industries' status quo. During 4 years post-consulting, I worked at Google Cloud, in roles that ranged from Sales Operations to Product launch and M&A. I left Google to get my MBA at INSEAD (top MBA program outside of the USA, currently ranked #2 globally) in 2020. After the MBA, I transitioned into Product. For 2.5 years, I worked in Product Operations and Product Management at VTEX (top e-commerce SaaS platform in South America), and then led the Product team at Zippi (post-Series A B2C Fintech startup providing credit to micro-entrepreneurs). In April 2023, I left Zippi to take a career break / sabbatical. I traveled for 6 months (in Asia and the Middle East) and focused on personal growth and on reconnecting with myself. This led me to several realizations regarding the next steps I want to take - one of which was my love for coaching. I had never formally coached in the past, but had informally mentored several people at Google and VTEX, and coached fellow MBA candidates to help land roles in Big Tech. I draw great fulfillment from helping others achieve their goals, and plan on making this a bigger part of my career going forward. I hope you'll join me in this endeavor!
Why do I coach?
I love to develop others and feel very fulfilled when I can help someone live up to their potential. I personally find it super frustrating whenever I feel "under-utilized" (i.e. only using 80% of my potential) so I've always made it a point with my mentees & team members to have 100% clarity on their goals and plans to achieve them. I've also worked with coaches before and benefitted greatly from the work we did together - these experiences helped me build the courage to leave Google in order to pursue my MBA, as well as to make the decision to return to Brazil post-MBA, and transition into Product Management. (On a personal note, since I have lived in many different countries and have a broad network, I like to connect people and make introductions that will benefit both ways. I've helped several of my friends find jobs by making introductions, and even a couple of life partners!)
