About Eric

First, a bit about my background and professional profile. I grew up in New Jersey, was the first in my family to attend college. I majored in Finance at Ohio State University and spent 5 years in a variety of corporate finance roles. I completed my MBA at the University of Virginia in 2012 and thereafter spent 7 years in management consulting (Deloitte and McKinsey). At McKinsey I was part of the hiring committee and interviewed dozens of BA/ MBA and experienced hire candidates. For the past 4 years I have been working in Private Equity, first at Vista Equity Partners and currently with NextGen Growth Partners. As a striver myself, I've always been passionate about coaching and mentor earlier career professionals. Whether it be MBA applications, consulting and general interview prep or longer range career strategy planning (e.g., how do I position myself for Private Equity?) I'd be happy to be a through partner and coach. Personally, I'm based in Chicago where I live in the city with my wife and two young sons.
