Earned 2021 Teacher-to-Teacher Award; nominated & selected by 100+ colleagues for excellence in teaching. 2018 Teach for America DC Corps Member; awarded TFA Community Champion award upon completion of the program. • Communication: Managed 5 assistant directors, producers, & choreographers to produce annual musical. Initiated & managed 18 partnerships with local theaters, non-profits, & contractors to support our work. • Operations: Created & managed 4-month long production calendars to meet creative & technical demands. Guided leadership team in facilitating the recruitment, selection, and training of 366 student volunteers. Managed $350,000 budget. • Partnership: Collaborated with 12 College offices to provide students a welcoming & smooth introduction to college life. • Strategy & Operation: Reimagined 82-year-old program finale to accommodate new location within 3 months due to construction delays in planned location. Exit survey results showed 90% satisfaction with programming at new location. Wrote 27-page Annual Report summarizing the program's impact. • Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion: Developed and executed an inclusive recruitment strategy that solicited 651 volunteer applications, a 30% increase from the prior year and the largest volunteer application pool in the program’s 80-year history. Emphasized outreach to folks from BIPOC communities, generating 15% increase in applications from students from such communities; met our goal of making Trips’ volunteer corps reflect the student body’s demographics.
