Hello and welcome to my profile! I'm Dawson, an incoming Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, with a strong foundation in biochemistry, economics, and leadership from the University of Georgia. My diverse experiences, including policy internships at the Truman Center for National Policy and doing community development work, have equipped me with a unique perspective on strategic problem-solving. I came from a pre-med background, finding an interest in pursuing consulting prior to an MBA or JD to specialize somewhere in healthcare in the future. About Dawson

Hello! My name is Dawson and I am a current senior at the University of Georgia studying biochemistry and economics with an eventual interest in healthcare policy + business. Post graduation, I am working at Bain as an associate consultant in Atlanta. Born in New Mexico, living half of my life in rural Missouri, and moving across the United States as the son of a veteran of the Air Force has fundamentally affected and gave me an interest in a dynamic career focused around interacting with people. I have experience with the MBB firms as well as Big 4 and have worked with many students from the University of Georgia and those from across the United States who have reached out for advice and support. I can also do resume/cover letter editing as well. If you have any questions or would love to chat please reach out!

Why do I coach?

Coaching is more than a role for me; it’s a way to give back and make a meaningful impact. Throughout my life, I’ve been fortunate to have mentors and coaches who have shaped my journey. Growing up in a military family, moving frequently, and attending nine schools over 16 years taught me the value of adaptability and the importance of having a strong support system. Whether it was a teacher who believed in me or a mentor who encouraged me to lead at UGA or in the community, these experiences showed me how guidance can unlock potential. As a coach, I aim to provide that same support to others. My passion for mentorship started in college, where I worked with diverse groups—from mentoring college students to tutoring elementary ESOL learners to being a resident assistant to TA'ing a class introducing students to UGA and the resources the university offers. These roles taught me that coaching isn’t about telling people what to do; it’s about listening, empowering, and helping them find their unique path. I hope to do so with you in management consulting. I've been there. It's tough and arduous and mixed with an endless amount of questions. I want to be that support for you. I coach because I’ve seen the ripple effect of encouragement and guidance. Helping others overcome challenges, gain confidence, and achieve their goals, especially within this consulting realm, fuels my purpose. I believe coaching is about creating a lasting impact—one that goes beyond the individual and strengthens the communities we’re all part of.
